LITTLETON, Colo.—Littleton police are looking for a man who allegedly tried to pull a 10-year-old boy into a van as the child was walking to school Friday.
Police say the boy was walking to school in the 5100 block of South Irving St. when a white van pulled up beside him. A man inside allegedly tried to persuade the child to get in, then got out and grabbed him when the boy refused.
The boy was not hurt. He got away and ran to school.
Authorities describe the suspect as a white male in his mid-40s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, 180 to 200 pounds, with a mustache and brown hair that’s balding in front.
The child told police he thought the van was a a plumbing, carpet, or heating and air conditioning company vehicle.
