Two people died Saturday in unrelated incidents at Keystone Resort, according to Summit County coroner Joanne Richardson.
Adam Delaney, 28, of Englewood, died after hitting a tree while snowboarding on the Prospector Run.
Delaney was not wearing a helmet. He sustained a closed head injury and skull fractures and was pronounced dead at 3 p.m. at St. Anthony Central Hospital in Denver,
William Sanko, 69, of Castle Rock, was found unresponsive at the junction of the Silver Spook & Modest Girl runs Saturday morning.
Richardson said there was no evidence of a collision or trauma and that Sanko, who was skiing, appears to have died of a medical problem. An autopsy will be performed.
