A 60-year-old Lyons woman was killed Sunday when her Toyota RAV4 slid off U.S. 36 and rolled over into St. Vrain Creek. The victim was identified as Karen Seibert.
The accident happened about 2 p.m. at milepost 16.5.
Seibert was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the sport utility vehicle into the creek.
She was dead when a passer-by pulled her out, according to the State Patrol.
