LINCOLN, Neb.—The start time for Nebraska’s Saturday matchup with IPFW has been moved up to accommodate Cornhusker fans wanting to watch the NCAA Volleyball Championship match in Omaha.

Tip-off for the Husker men’s basketball game is now set for 5 p.m.

It originally was scheduled for 7 p.m.—the same time the championship volleyball match will get under way at Omaha’s Qwest Center.

The Huskers will play in that match if they are able to overcome top-ranked, undefeated Penn State on Thursday in the final four.

Nebraska officials had hoped to move the basketball game to an early afternoon start time, but wouldn’t have enough time to set up after Saturday morning’s commencement.
