No. 16 Tennessee 80, No. 24 Marquette 68: Wayne Chism scored 21 of his 26 points in the second half as the host Volunteers (7-2) beat the Golden Eagles (8-2) despite 30 points from Wesley Matthews.

No. 25 Clemson 76, North Florida 36: Trevor Booker had 16 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks for the host Tigers (11-0).

Denver 66, Florida Atlantic 55: The Pioneers (3-6), led by Andrew Hooper’s 19 points, opened Sun Belt Conference play with a home victory. Paul Graham III had 21 to lead FAU (4-6).

Northern Colorado 76, Portland 73: Neal Kingman went 5-for-6 from 3-point range and scored 18 points to lead the host Bears (3-5).

Wyoming 100, Western State 73: Sean Ogirri scored 26 points for the host Cowboys (8-1). Brandon Gentry led the Mountaineers (4-4) with 17.

No. 8 Duke 56, No. 3 Stanford 52: Karima Christmas scored 10 of her career-high 14 points in the second half for the host Blue Devils (7-1). Jayne Appel had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Stanford (7-2).

No. 7 Baylor 73, Texas-Pan American 27: Danielle Wilson had 23 points, 11 rebounds and five blocks for the host Lady Bears (10-1).
