Frontier Airlines’ cabin cleaners voted to ratify a new, four-year contract that includes wage concessions, the airline said Wednesday.
The 119 workers will take a 6 percent pay cut in the first and second years of the contract, 3 percent in the third year and 1 percent in the final year, officials of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 961 have said.
It includes a provision providing some protection to the workers should Frontier restore pay to its customer-service and ramp workers, the union has said. Other labor groups at the bankrupt Denver-based airline have agreed to similar pay cuts.
