No. 11 Syracuse 82, Canisius 60: The host Orange (10-1) got a career-high 14 points from Rick Jackson and 13 points and 11 rebounds from Paul Harris.
No. 14 UCLA 75, Loyola Marymount 44: Reserve Michael Roll scored 12 points, hitting four of UCLA’s season-high 11 3-pointers. Darren Collison added 11 points for the host Bruins (7-2).
No. 17 Ohio State 81, Jacksonville 68: David Lighty scored 21 points to lead the host Buckeyes (7-0), who made 10-of-17 shots from 3-point range. Jacksonville (2-6) trailed by 19 points early in the second half, but cut it to five with 5 minutes left.
No. 19 Michigan State 79, The Citadel 65: Raymar Morgan had 26 points and 10 rebounds as the Spartans (7-2) won despite 10 3-pointers from the visiting Bulldogs (5-6). Morgan was 6-for-6 from the field in the first half and 11-for-12 overall for the Spartans, who led 37-19 at halftime.
No. 23 Memphis 59, Arkansas-Little Rock 51: Robert Dozier scored 15 points and Shawn Taggart and Tyreke Evans added 12 as the host Tigers (6-2) held off a late rally by UALR (7-3).
AREA WOMEN
Montana 68, Denver 63: The Pioneers (5-5) led by 13 points with 12:38 remaining, but could not hang on at DU’s Hamilton Gymnasium despite freshman forward Kaetlyn Murdoch’s second double-double (15 points, 10 rebounds) in three games. Sonya Rogers led the rally for Montana (8-2) scoring 16 of her game-high 24 points in the second half.
