Bailey’s back:
Cornerback Champ Bailey returned after missing seven games with a groin injury. His play wasn’t always vintage Champ, but he bolstered the secondary and led the team with nine tackles.
Fast start:
Denver’s 80-yard touchdown drive to open the game was one of the team’s best possessions recently and showcased a balanced rushing and passing attack. Too bad it couldn’t last.
Cutler’s record:
Quarterback Jay Cutler, who threw for 359 yards Sunday, now has 4,210 passing yards this season, which breaks Jake Plummer’s single-season record of 4,089 from 2004.
