AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.—Matt Holland scored 19 points and had a team-high seven rebounds to lead Air Force to a 65-41 win over Texas Southern on Monday night.
Anwar Johnson added 16 points for the Falcons (8-2). The next highest scorer was Andrew Henke with seven points.
Texas Southern (0-12) trailed 38-23 at halftime and fell farther behind as Air Force went on a 13-3 run in the second to take a 54-33 lead with 10:17 remaining.
Ricky Boyles led Texas Southern with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Jacques Jones added eight points and eight rebounds.
The Tigers shot only 30 percent from the field compared to 46 percent shooting by the Falcons.
