The Jeffco Action Center reports that its annual Santa Shop provided toys for 3,050 kids from 1,321 families, a 12 percent increase over last year.
More than 260 parents arrived daily to pick out gifts for their children, according to a news release.
“Like all of our programs, the Santa Shop has seen an increase in the number of parents coming to utilize this service,” Mag Strittmatter, executive director of the Jeffco Action Center, said in a statement.
