COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—Two men have pleaded guilty to reduced charges for their roles in a botched robbery attempt at a Colorado Springs home that ended with a fatal shooting.

Authorities say 27-year-old Adrian Works and 33-year-old Andrew Dickerson entered their pleas last week to aggravated robbery, and agreed to testify against a third man, 19-year-old Bryant Sherman. Works and Dickerson originally were charged with first-degree murder.

Sentencing is scheduled for March 2.

Police say the three men crashed a poker game Jan. 3 at a Colorado Springs home, and that Sherman fatally shot the home’s occupant, 21-year-old Josh Sommervold, during a botched robbery attempt.

Sherman is charged with first-degree murder and is scheduled to stand trial in February.

All three are jailed without bond in El Paso County.
