BOULDER, Colo.—A former Boulder Valley school board member has been chosen to fill a vacant seat on the Colorado State Board of Education.
Angelika Schroeder will represent the 2nd Congressional District, filling the seat vacated by Evie Hudak, who was elected to the state Senate in November.
The Board of Education is the governing board of the Colorado Department of Education. Its seven members serve without pay for six-year terms.
Schroeder will begin serving on the board in January.
