Kroenke ups Arsenal stakes.

Rapids owner Stan Kroenke increased his stake in Premier League soccer team Arsenal. He purchased 13 shares for 7,750 pounds ($11,413) each. His stake remains at 12.4 percent.

Kroenke, who also owns the Nuggets and Avalanche, made the move after Arsenal’s third-largest shareholder, Nina Bracewell-Smith, quit the team’s board this month. Bracewell-Smith’s departure left Kroenke open to buy more shares, since the board was no longer bound to sell only to close family.
