STORRS, Conn.—Eric Lampe scored two goals to lead Quinnipiac to a 4-2 victory over No. 11 Air Force in the championship game of the Toyota/UConn Classic on Tuesday.

Dan Clarke stopped 29 shots in goal for the Bobcats, helping Quinnipiac improve to 9-6-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the ECAC.

Air Force fell to 14-3-1 overall and 11-1-1 in the Atlantic Hockey Association.

David Marshall and Matt Sorteberg scored one goal each for Quinnipiac, which built a 3-0 lead with two goals in two minutes in the second period and held on for the win.

Bryan Leitch had a game-high three assists for the Bobcats.

Andrew Volkening blocked 12 shots and Jeff Hajner scored two goals for Air Force, which out-shot Quinnipiac 31-16 in the game.

Air Force plays Connecticut in an AHA game Saturday in Storrs, Conn. The Falcons conclude their trip against Yale on Sunday in New Haven, Conn.
