Janus Capital Group Inc. announced Wednesday it has completed the purchase of an additional 50 percent ownership interest in money manager Perkins, Wolf, McDonnell and Co. LLC.
The $90 million deal, which was announced in July, gives Janus an 80 percent stake in the Chicago-based firm. In addition, the firm is changing its name to Perkins Investment Management LLC.
