BOULDER, Colo.—Two services are planned for the general manager of the Eldora Mountain Resort who was shot to death by an employee.
A public for service 49-year-old Brian Mahon is scheduled for Saturday morning at the Sacred Heart of Jesus church in Boulder and another one is scheduled Monday evening at the Indian Peaks Lodge at Eldora Mountain Resort.
Mahon died Tuesday morning at the resort’s pump house after 24-year-old Derik Bonestroo shot him in the head and stomach.
Authorities say Bonestroo then shot himself after a Boulder County Sheriff’s deputy wounded him during a shootout.
Bonestroo was a ski lift operator at the resort.
