A house fire in Aurora on Sunday displaced a family but no one was injured by the blaze.
Aurora firefighters were called to 3001 S. Macon St. at about 3:25 p.m. and crews arrived to find a home in a four-plex unit engulfed in flames, the Aurora Fire Department said in a news release.
The family had safely fled the home before firefighters arrived, the fire department said.
Firefighters had the fire under control in about 30 minutes. Fire damage is estimated at about $165,000.
Another family in an adjoining unit was evacuated after utilities to the four-plex were turned off.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
