Getting your player ready...

Avalanche defenseman Adam Foote will be sidelined for at least a few days with an arm injury, and right wing Ian Laperriere will miss Tuesday’s game at Nashville with back stiffness.

Avs coach Tony Granato said this morning that Foote has an injury to his triceps and will be re-evaluated in the next few days.

Laperriere is out on a day to day basis, Granato said.

The Avs responded by calling up defenseman Kyle Cumiskey from their AHL affiliate the Lake Erie Monsters. It is Cumiskey’s third call-up this season from Cleveland, where he has 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 26 games.
