Wells Fargo will base a new nine-state Mountain West region in Denver following its merger with Wachovia.
The region will include Colorado, Alaska, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Utah, Washington and Wyoming. Thomas Honig will head the new region, which replaces a seven-state Mountain Midwest region that also was based in Denver.
