Unemployment rates in Colorado’s metropolitan areas rose in November from October, according to a report Tuesday from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The Denver-Aurora unemployment rate hit 5.9 percent in November, above Colorado’s 5.7 percent rate. Colorado Springs reported a 6.6 percent rate and Pueblo a 7.1 percent rate. Unemployment rates were lowest in Grand Junction, at 4.3 percent, and Fort Collins-Loveland, at 4.7 percent.
