MISSOULA, Mont.—The University of Montana football team will play an 11-game schedule in 2009, with six home games that include four against Big Sky Conference teams.

The schedule announced late Tuesday also includes an Oct. 10 Homecoming Game against Cal Poly.

The Grizzlies begin their conference play Sept. 19 with the Portland State Vikings.

Other league match-ups in Washington-Grizzly Stadium include Eastern Washington, Weber State and Northern Colorado.

Montana opens the 2009 season at home against Western State and then travels to UC Davis.

The Grizzlies’ Big Sky road games are at Northern Arizona, Idaho State and Montana State for the 109th Grizzly-Bobcat game.

UM has an open date Oct. 3rd.
