“Savoir Fare London: Stylish Dining for Under $25” ($14.95, The Little Bookroom) is a sweet little confection of delectable photos interspersed with wonderful recommendations for reasonably priced, top-notch fare in the major sections and neighborhoods. The small, easy-to-handle book is divided by South, Central, North, East and West, and each entry begins with the pertinent info, including the closest underground (the lime-colored type used for headers here is dreadfully teeny and pale; however, it’s not used for the crucial details). Brief narratives are fun to read even if you have no imminent British travel plans, but it’s the photos that really bring it all to life. Author Elaine Louie is a New York Times staffer, and she serves up some of her favorites at the end. Kyle Wagner
