DETROIT — A Michigan mail carrier accused of stashing thousands of pieces of mail in a storage unit instead of delivering them pleaded guilty in federal court Tuesday to deserting her route.
Authorities say Jill Hull, 34, kept unopened mail in a self- storage unit for more than two years. She allegedly told an agent that she couldn’t keep up with the job.
