A wildfire that has burned 250 acres in a training area of Fort Carson near Colorado Springs was 10 percent contained Wednesday night.
The cause of the Orchard Canyon fire is under investigation, said Karen Connelly, base spokeswoman.
With an increase in humidity overnight, officials did not expect the fire to grow.
A Fort Carson helicopter dumped water on the fire, Connelly said.
