BROOMFIELD, Colo.—Police are investigating the discovery of a decomposing body near a drainage ditch in Broomfield, and a reward is being offered for information.
Broomfield Police Sgt. Scott Swenson says the body was found about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday, but was so badly decomposed that its gender was not immediately known.
An autopsy is planned.
The cause of death has not been determined, but police are investigating the case as a homicide.
Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a suspect in the case.
