Long odds.
On the positive side, the wise guys in Las Vegas give the Broncos a better chance to win the 2010 Super Bowl than the Miami Dolphins. The Broncos, at 30-1, are in a six-way tie for 14th-longest odds to win the Super Bowl next season, which will be the first under coach Josh McDaniels.
The Dolphins, despite an 11-5 record this year that was three games better than the Broncos, came in at 40-1. The favorite to win the Super Bowl next year is McDaniels’ former team, the New England Patriots, at 8-1. The longest odds, at 100-1, are shared by the Chiefs, Raiders, Rams and Lions.
