BOULDER — Two former Colorado football players were sentenced to at least a year in prison Thursday after pleading guilty to an apartment robbery.

Bernard Jackson, a former starting quarterback, and Lionel Harris, a safety, pleaded guilty to burglary and menacing as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

They were sentenced to 5 1/2 years in prison but could be released after a year for good behavior and participating in rehabilitation programs.

They were accused of breaking into an apartment and stealing $500 in June. Authorities say the pair were wearing masks and had a handgun.
