Hear a free presentation on comics, graphic novels and humanities from the celebrated author-illustrator Art Spiegelman. His graphic novel/memoir, “Maus: A Survivor’s Tale,” an account of his parents’ experience in the Holocaust, won the 1992 Pulitzer Prize. The speech is associated with an exhibit of rare and collectible comics.

The highly anticipated ice snail now looms near the Children’s Foundation in Vail Village. The spiral sculpture, 28 feet across and 2 to 9 feet high, is a chilly reminder of Colorado’s very distant past as a prehistoric shallow sea.
