GREAT WESTERN OIL AND GAS: Former Colorado Gov. Bill Owens and veteran oil- industry executive Neal Stanley have joined the board of the Denver-based affiliate of the Broe Group.
COLORADO SOCIETY OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS:Ron Reed, professor of accounting at the University of Northern Colorado’s Monfort College of Business, has accepted a nomination to serve on the board of directors. His two- year term begins May 1.
THE COLORADO CONSERVATION TRUST: Elected Willi Schmidt chairman of the board of directors. Thomas Stokes was retained as vice chairman and George Beardsley as secretary/treasurer. JONES LANG LASALLE: Appointed Steve Suechting as executive vice president of the firm’s capital-markets team in Denver.
VISIONTEK: Named Elena Castor vice president, sales, and Ivo Karadjov, director, product management and marketing.
NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW: Laura Hazen, a litigation employment lawyer with Ireland Stapleton Pryor & Pascoe PC, has been named co- chairwoman of the Denver regional chapter of alumni relations and development.
