No one was injured this afternoon when a small plane crashed into a snowbank while landing at the Aspen/Pitkin County Airport, authorities say.

Two people were aboard the single-engine, turboprop PA46, said Mike Fergus, spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration’s Northwest Mountain Region.

Only the propeller of the plane owned by Boca Raton, Fla.-based Richbuilt Construction was damaged, Fergus said. The accident is under investigation.
