TORONTO — All-star forward Chris Bosh left the Raptors’ game Wednesday night against the Lakers because of a sprained right knee.
Bosh, who came in averaging 23 points and 9.5 rebounds, walked to the locker room alongside the trainer with 9:50 remaining in the fourth. He had 12 points and eight rebounds in 29 minutes.
Toronto was already without guard Jose Calderon, who sat out with a sore hamstring.
Bogut out eight weeks
MILWAUKEE — Bucks center Andrew Bogut will miss at least eight weeks with a stress fracture in his back. Bogut, who is averaging 11.7 points and a team-high 10.3 rebounds, will need exercise and rest, but no surgery is scheduled.
76ers’ Brand day to day
PHILADELPHIA — 76ers forward Elton Brand missed practice and is day to day because of a shoulder injury that forced him to miss 16 games.
Johnson battling illness
MINNEAPOLIS — All-star guard Joe Johnson missed Atlanta’s game against Minnesota because of illness, offsetting the return of Al Horford (knee) from a 12-game absence. Hawks coach Mike Woodson said he hoped to have Johnson back for Friday’s game at Charlotte.
