COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—The Mexican national team will play Bolivia in a soccer friendly on March 11 at the Colorado Rapids’ stadium.
The match will be Mexico’s final tuneup before its World Cup qualifying match on March 28 against Costa Rica in Mexico City.
It will be the second game of the Mexican team’s five matches on U.S. soil in the sixth edition of its annual tour. The first game in 2009 was played on Jan. 28 against Mexico coach Sven-Göran Eriksson’s native country Sweden, which won 1-0 in Oakland.
Mexico and Bolivia have met eight times, with the Mexicans winning six, Bolivia once and one tie.
