FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Closing arguments are expected Monday in the trial of a former Colorado State University employee.
Thirty-one-year-old Samuel Kase White is charged with five counts of felony sexual assault, five counts of burglary, one count of trespassing, one count of harassment and one count of unlawful contact in a series of alleged assaults in fall 2007 near the CSU campus.
All five women who say they were sexually assaulted testified they went to sleep and awoke to find a man either in their beds or bedrooms. They testified that the man assaulted them before leaving peacefully when asked.
White’s attorneys contend that the first woman who testified against White contradicted her statements to police during initial interviews.
