The body of a woman discovered by a school-bus driver in El Paso County was identified today by authorities.
Jennifer Warren, 35, died from a gunshot wound, and her death is being investigated as a homicide, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
Her body was found Monday morning in rural El Paso County on Book Drive when the bus driver spotted an oddly shaped clump in a roadside ditch.
The driver called authorities and reported the discovery.
Students on the bus, from the Ellicott School District, received counseling at their schools, and their parents were notified about the incident, school officials said.
The investigation into Warren’s death is ongoing, and anyone with information on the case is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 719-390-5555.
