DENVER—Someone defaced a U.S. flag with hate symbols and racial slurs and hung it from a flagpole at a Denver high school.
Police spokesman Sonny Jackson said Friday the flag was discovered at Thomas Jefferson High School on Feb. 7. He says it had been placed there overnight.
Jackson says Denver police and the FBI are investigating.
