For the first time in a year, the state’s casinos posted a gain in revenue. Colorado’s mountain casinos reported revenue of $57.5 million in January, up from $56.7 million in January 2008.
Black Hawk’s casinos reported revenue of $41.6 million in January, up from $40.9 million a year ago. Cripple Creek reported revenue of $10.7 million, up from $9.9 million. Central City casinos’ revenues dropped to $5.2 million from $5.9 million.
