COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—A teenager has been arrested at a Colorado Springs encampment in connection with the killing of a transient man earlier this month.

Using a tip, police found 18-year-old Taylor Gwaltney of Colorado Springs Friday morning at the encampment near an event center. Police say Gwaltney ran when police approached, but he was arrested after a short foot chase.

Colorado Springs Police say Gwaltney will be charged with homicide in the death of 54-year-old David Doyle, a transient man found dead Feb. 5 of head trauma near some railroad tracks in Colorado Springs.
