Providence 81, No. 1 Pittsburgh 73: Weyinmi Efejuku scored 16 points for the host Friars (17-11, 9-7 Big East). DeJuan Blair had 17 for Pitt (25-3, 12-3), but fouled out with 46 seconds left.

No. 18 LSU 81, Florida 75: Marcus Thornton scored 32 points and the host Tigers (24-4, 12-1), who have won nine straight, clinched a share of the SEC championship.

Boston College 72, No. 23 Florida State 67: Tyrese Rice hit a key 3-pointer with 20.5 seconds to play for the host Eagles (20-9, 8-6 ACC). Toney Douglas led FSU (21-7, 8-5) with 19 points.

BIG 12 MEN

Iowa State 71, Baylor 62: Craig Brackins scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the host Cyclones (14-14, 3-10). Tweety Carter had 20 points for Baylor (16-11, 4-9).

Texas A&M 57, Nebraska 55: Josh Carter’s buzzer-beating 3-pointer gave the visiting Aggies (20-8, 6-7) the win. The Cornhuskers (16-10, 6-7) blew an 18-point lead in the second half.

MOUNTAIN WEST MEN

New Mexico 76, TCU 62: Daniel Faris hit a bank shot from the paint early in the second half, breaking a tie and starting an 11-2 run that helped the Lobos (18-10, 9-4) to the home win. Zvonko Buljan scored 16 for the Horned Frogs (14-14, 5-9).

BYU 69, San Diego State 59: Jimmer Fredette led the Cougars (21-6, 9-4) with 28 points and keyed a late 15-0 run. Lorenzo Wade led the host Aztecs (18-8, 8-5) with 19 points.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MEN

Metro State 70, Regis 61: Jesse Wagstaff had 22 points, including a key layup after the host Rangers (7-19, 4-14) had rallied to tie the game at 45-45, for the Roadrunners (23-3, 17-1).

Fort Lewis 91, Adams State 77: Ryan Jameson scored 18 points for the host Skyhawks (22-7, 13-5), who jumped out to a 30-13 lead. Victor de Zoppa scored 20 for the Grizzlies (4-22, 1-17).

TOP 25 WOMEN

No. 1 Connecticut 74, Villanova 47: Tina Charles scored 19 points to lead the host Huskies (28-0, 14-0), who clinched at least a share of their 17th Big East regular-season championship.

No. 22 Virginia 68, No. 11 Florida State 63: Lyndra Littles scored 17 of her 24 points in the second half as the Cavaliers (22-7, 8-5 ACC) rallied to upset the host Seminoles (23-6, 11-2).

No. 15 Pittsburgh 72, West Virginia 60: Shavonte Zellous scored 25 points to lead the visiting Panthers (21-5, 11-3 Big East).

No. 16 Texas 66, Missouri 56: Brittainey Raven scored a career-high 31 points and the Longhorns (20-7, 8-5 Big 12) overcame a 10-point deficit to beat the host Tigers (12-14, 3-10).

No. 23 Notre Dame 90, Syracuse 79: Lindsay Schrader had 23 points to help fuel the host Irish (19-7, 8-6 Big East).

ROCKY MOUNTAIN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE WOMEN

Metro State 88, Regis 71: Rae Bean scored 22 points for the Roadrunners (13-13, 11-7). Host Regis (13-13, 10-8) rallied to lead 71-69 with six minutes left, but did not score again.

Fort Lewis 84, Adams State 57: The host Skyhawks (24-2, 17-1) put the game away with a 13-2 run to open the second half. Alison Rosel had 15 points. Vera Jo Bustos’ 17 led ASC (13-13, 9-9).
