A person was run over and killed in Denver early Saturday by a car that sped away from the scene, authorities say.
A light-colored car that resembles a Pontiac Grand Am struck the victim at 1601 W. Evans Ave. about 12:30 a.m., said Sharon Avendaño, Denver police spokeswoman.
Avendaño said the victim’s identity had not been released.
No description of the suspect was available.
