Expresso bikes have become the rage in fitness centers and gyms across the country because they feature 19-inch color display screens and 30-plus virtual courses and video games you can play as you ride. The Bob Burger Recreation Center in Lafayette recently added five Expresso bikes that let cyclists connect to the Internet and track their statistics, ride with friends, access leader boards and listen to music. Coloradans boast about their average of 300 days of sun exposure each year, but we all know too much exposure has its ill effects as well. Class action
Want to learn to lift weights without being in a class filled with kids? The Aurora Center for Active Adults offers strength training classes for those 50 and older Mondays through Thursdays, today through March 31. The class will help participants increase bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis. The drop-in fee is $2.25 to $5 per class, depending on your age.
