A 25-year-old Platteville man died early this morning after he rolled a silver 2002 Honda Civic on Colorado 85 in Weld County, authorities say.
Ever I. Soledas-Tena was pronounced dead at the scene after the 2:37 a.m. accident, said Trooper Gilbert Mares of the Colorado State Patrol.
Soledas-Tena was driving south on the highway when the car drifted off the left side of the road into the center median and crashed into a post, Mares said.
The Honda rolled 1-1/2 times, throwing Soledas-Tena from the car, he said. Authorities believe alcohol might have contributed to the accident.
The accident is under investigation.
