An Horse drummer Damon Cox had the indie kids dancing at the Walnut Room on Sunday. Photos by Denise Chambers.
According to Twitter page — @anhorse — the rock duo is “Police Academy 1-4.”
They are quite a funny duo with a great sense of humor. But outside of their between-song banter, An Horse is nothing to laugh at. They turned out a great set at on Sunday — a set that had Reverb contributor Denise Chambers dancing as she shot the band.
A note from Chambers: “It seemed odd that I would be dancing to these lyrics from the song ‘Company:’ ‘And all my broken hearts/And all my forgettable false starts/You can have them right now/But you better not look away/This is me trying to be brave.’ But I just couldn’t help myself.”
Below is Denise’s photo essay of An Horse’s show.
