GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.—Grand Junction police say a man crashed his pickup into 10 cars in a Safeway parking lot, but only minor injuries were reported.
Police arrested 65-year-old Rudolph Nerio on suspicion of driving under the influence and careless driving after the Tuesday incident.
Police say Nerio was also suffering from an undisclosed medical condition He was taken to a hospital and later released.
Nerio declined to comment when reached by The Associated Press.
Police spokeswoman Kate Porras says a Safeway employee was knocked down and a man suffered a cut when his vehicle air bag inflated. She says both had only minor injuries.
Five of the 10 vehicles had to be towed away.
Porras says Nerio’s pickup was going up to 40 mph.
