A provision in the amendment that adds a 1 percentage point increase on top of the annual inflation figure for school funding will expire, but the amendment itself remains in place.
• Because of a reporting error, the last name of former Denver Broncos running back Rod Bernstine was misspelled in a report on a gambling ring on Page 1A on Friday.
• Because of a reporting error, an item on Page 3B on Thursday incorrectly stated that state Sen. Greg Brophy offered an amendment to a bill requiring owners of special electric vehicles to pay an extra surcharge to account for lost gas-tax revenue.
