JUNEAU, Alaska — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin appointed a state judge who once served on the board of Planned Parenthood to the state Supreme Court, against the urgings of a conservative group. Anchorage Superior Court Judge Morgan Christen, 47, will be the second woman to serve on the state’s high court.
