LINCOLN, Neb.—Silver Lake came back from a seven-point halftime deficit to beat Elkhorn Valley 38-37 in a Class D1 semifinal at the girls state tournament Friday night.
Elkhorn Valley had the ball with 18 seconds left and trailing by a point, but the Falcons committed a turnover and Silver Lake was able to run out the clock.
Cami Bruckman scored 10 points for Silver Lake. Katie Rich had a game-high 16 for Elkhorn Valley.
Silver Lake (22-3) will play Bancroft-Rosalie (26-1) in Saturday’s final.
