ORLANDO, Fla. — A Florida woman accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter says she has no clauses in a financial agreement with her attorney that would let the lawyer sell the rights to her story.
Prosecutors had said they worried the lawyer may be paid later by selling the rights to Casey Anthony’s story.
Anthony hand-wrote in a sworn affidavit Tuesday that she believed prosecutors were angry because “I have refused to take a plea agreement for a crime that I did not commit.”
Anthony is facing a first-degree murder charge after her daughter Caylee was found dead in December, months after disappearing.
