LINCOLN, Neb.—Trevor Menke and Grant Smith scored 14 points apiece and Beatrice came from behind to beat Scottsbluff 48-40 in the Class B semifinals at the boys state tournament Friday night, ending the Bearcats’ winning streak at 20 games.

The defending champion Orangemen (20-2), in the final for the fourth time in five years, will play for their third state title since 2005. Their opponent will be Ralston (22-4), a team they’ve lost to twice this season.

Scottsbluff led 26-21 at half but managed to score only four points in the third quarter, when Beatrice went ahead 32-30.

Tim McDavid led the Bearcats (25-4) with 10 points.
