An electrician who was working at a Steamboat Springs restaurant died when he crawled into an exhaust vent and apparently was asphyxiated, police said.
The Steamboat Pilot identified the man as Michael Goodspeed, 49, of Aurora. The newspaper said Goodspeed and two others were spending the night inside the restaurant on Market Place Plaza, which hasn’t opened yet, while working there.
Goodspeed apparently was locked out Wednesday night and tried to enter through the vent. His co-workers saw his feet dangling from the vent this morning.
