We’ve heard of seniors golfing their age, but driving it? Dulcibella King-Hall, who’s had a need for speed since she test-drove vehicles for the military during World War II, celebrated her upcoming 107th birthday by turning in a 108-mph lap in a BMW M3 at Brands Hatch race track in Kent, England. “Why shouldn’t I?” King-Hall said. “I like the feeling of the vehicle going vroom.” King-Hall then hopped back into her wheelchair and headed for the bus back to Halliwell nursing home. Said Halliwell events coordinator Lena Akers: “Her love of speed has her constantly asking our minibus driver ‘to go a little faster, please.’ ” The Seattle Times
